“2019 Shenzhen Smart City Forum with International Friendship Cities” will be held in Shenzhen from May 14th to 15th, 2019. UNDP, UN-Habitat, city representatives, global experts and scholars with advanced experience and expertise in smart city, and representatives from high-tech enterprises as Huawei, which boast cutting-edge technologies, solutions and successful practices, will be present for open discussions.

The Forum will be composed of Opening Ceremony, Plenary Session, Mayors’ Round Table, two sessions respectively on “Smart City” and “Safe City”, as well as “Night of Shenzhen” Concert. 400 guests from around the world are expected to attend the two-day international gathering.

The Forum will serve as a platform for the cities committed to building smart city to share the latest development concepts, experience frontier technologies, and enhance international communication and cooperation. It will also be a very good opportunity for cities to expand business cooperation network.

During these sessions, our friendship cities’ delegates and our partners will discuss shaping future urban landscape—creating a safe and comfortable living environment and providing more public services through digital approaches. Cities’ innovation will be spurred, and we will be closer to the common goal of building innovation-driven cities.
